Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Food and Beverage Team Member to join our team at Hotel Indigo Glasgow. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests and ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant and bar.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome and serve guests in a friendly and efficient manner, recommending food and drink options to enhance their experience.
  • Communicate effectively with the kitchen and other team members to ensure seamless service and high standards of food quality.
  • Monitor and maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to health and safety protocols and IHG standards.
  • Handle guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring prompt resolution and guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure accurate billing and maintain a high level of product knowledge, including daily specials.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve excellent customer service and maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements
  • Previous hotel or hospitality experience is advantageous, but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Good presentation and appearance, with a focus on maintaining high standards of personal hygiene and presentation.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
