Orchard Cottage Care Ltd is a residential care provider that offers a supportive environment for vulnerable children and young people.
We are seeking an experienced Residential Child Care Worker to join our team in Orchard Cottage, providing day-to-day health and wellbeing support to our residents.
The successful candidate will have experience working with Autism, disabilities, and personal care, along with relevant qualifications ideally possessing an SVQ in Children and Young People coupled with an HNC in Social Services (or higher/or accepted equivalent in line with the SSSC qualification requirements) or the ability and commitment to gain these qualifications while in post.
A full driving licence is preferable but not essential. The estimated salary for this role is £24,500 - £28,500 per annum depending on qualifications.

The role involves actively safeguarding and promoting the rights of children and young people, teaching life skills and coping strategies, building confidence, self-esteem, and resilience, accompanying them to and from education, facilitating family time, creating a warm, comforting, and homely environment including daily household tasks, and encouraging participation in local activities and hobbies.
