Data Solutions Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team at Ecotricity, the UK's first true green energy provider. As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering projects, ensuring the quality of our data, and contributing to our mission of making Britain greener.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and architectures to support our renewable energy solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve data efficiency, reduce technical debt, and enhance our data-driven decision-making capabilities.
- Develop and maintain data visualizations and reports to support business stakeholders and inform strategic decisions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure our data solutions remain cutting-edge.

Requirements- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or Analyst with a strong background in data modeling, ETL processes, and data visualization.
- Expertise in Databricks, Apache Spark, SQL, and Python, with experience in cloud-centric data solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Passion for developing data solutions that drive business value and support our mission to make Britain greener.
