About the Role

We're seeking an experienced and strategic National Field Sales Manager to lead our National field sales function and manage our key account. The successful candidate will oversee Key Accounts, ensure sales activities align with client expectations, and drive performance across regional and territory teams.

This role requires a strong leader with excellent communication skills and a proven track record in field sales management. You'll be responsible for the performance and improvement of a field force of 150+ sales people, 20+ Territory Managers, and 2 Regional Managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • New Starter Onboarding: Collaborate with the Recruitment Manager and Account Team to oversee onboarding needs for new starters prior to training.
  • Ensure new starters have a clear pathway to reach set targets during the onboarding period, supporting line managers with development plans and additional training needs.
  • Manage team to onboard candidates from application approval to training, ensuring completion of the Ted portal, including Right To Work and Payment Details.
  • Continuous Development: Create performance improvement plans for Territory Managers and Regional Managers in the field, documenting required development areas.
  • Upskilling Territory Managers and Regional Managers to effectively manage their sales teams, ensuring required planning and scheduling is in place.
  • Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement national sales strategies that align with overall business objectives and client requirements.
  • Work closely with regional and territory managers to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded across all regions.
About You

We're looking for a high-energy individual with a passion for the industry and a proven ability to lead and motivate a large team to achieve ambitious sales targets.

You'll be a brilliant communicator, able to forge strong relationships with team members and have a confident and energetic presence.

We're looking for someone who loves using technology to solve problems, meet challenges, and streamline processes. You'll become a natural advocate and trainer of our technology platform.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a National Field Sales Manager or similar senior sales role.
  • Strong communication skills and a proven track record in field sales management.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a large team to achieve ambitious sales targets.
  • High energy and a passion for the industry.
  • Excellent attention to detail and meticulous personal admin.
  • Highly motivated and disciplined individual able to work on their own initiative.
