Strategic Prime Brokerage Developer

McGregor Boyall Associates Limited is seeking an exceptional developer to contribute to a cutting-edge Strategic Prime Brokerage Platform in London's financial district.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled JVM-based developer with experience in Kotlin, Java, or Scala to deliver Prime Brokerage Processing components using Java/Kotlin. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile methodologies and quality-led engineering, with expertise in test-driven development, CI/CD, microservices, and cloud engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Prime Brokerage Processing components using Java/Kotlin
  • Focus on Lifecycle, Valuation, and Regulatory Reporting
  • Develop and implement automated testing
  • Participate in Agile team processes, including CI/CD
  • Contribute to design, planning, and estimation discussions

The ideal candidate will be proactive, diligent, quick to learn, and thrive in a collaborative environment. Experience with tools like Jenkins, Grafana, Elastic Stack, SQL Server, Kubernetes, and OpenShift is beneficial. A degree in a technical/quantitative subject is preferred, and experience in Swaps or Prime Brokerage is desirable but not essential.
