We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Software Engineer to join our global software engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering solutions as per the roadmap of our products, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to achieve a common goal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on strategic green field and brown field projects in Prime Brokerage and Business as Usual requests.
  • Develop and maintain software applications using Java, C#, SQL Server, Postgres, Angular, Spring, and Docker.
  • Propose improvements related to the development and support activity.
  • Troubleshoot production system support issues.
  • Perform software maintenance and upgrade.
  • Liaise with different teams to resolve dependencies and ensure timely delivery.

Requirements:

  • 4-7 years of experience working in software development.
  • Strong knowledge of database design and development, with experience in PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with Unix shell scripting, messaging (Kafka, JMS, Solace), and Gitlab source control.
  • Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) activities and Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and determine various outcomes from different scenarios.
  • Strong aptitude for learning new technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in Prime Brokerage, particularly across Equities and Fixed Income products.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies, deployment, design, and PostgreSQL/Sybase.
  • Experience with Test-Driven Development or Behavior Driven Development.
  • Post trade function experience.
