The Role:

We are seeking a Lead Hardware Engineer with expertise in RF circuit design, PCB design, and system-level hardware design for industrial communication systems.

The successful candidate will oversee the design and development of RF and wireless communication hardware for industrial devices, ensuring high performance in challenging industrial environments.

About the Job:

  • We estimate the salary for this role to be around £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • This includes working with RF circuits, Bluetooth modules, and LTE integration, as well as overseeing system-level hardware design, from PCB layout and prototyping to RF testing and validation.
  • You will collaborate across engineering teams and involve yourself in the full product lifecycle, from concept through to production.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop RF and wireless communication hardware for industrial devices.
  2. Oversee system-level hardware design, including PCB layout and prototyping, RF testing and validation.
  3. Collaborate with engineering teams and contribute to the full product lifecycle.
Requirements:
  • Expertise in RF circuit design with experience in Bluetooth and LTE technologies.
  • Strong background in PCB design and RF testing.
  • Experience in system-level hardware design for industrial communication systems.
  • Leadership experience in managing hardware projects and mentoring junior engineers.
  • Familiarity with industrial communication standards and applications is highly desirable.
