The Work Club initiative is dedicated to assisting young individuals in navigating various challenges that may affect their educational and career paths. This program serves as a supportive environment where participants can receive guidance on a wide range of topics, from identifying suitable educational programs to securing employment opportunities.
We are seeking dedicated volunteers from local enterprises and organizations to contribute their time and expertise at the Work Club sessions, which occur weekly at our Advice Centre.
Your Contributions Will Include:
- Facilitating internet access for research and applications
- Assisting in the search for job openings and educational resources
- Helping individuals create and manage email accounts
- Guiding participants in crafting and printing their CVs
- Supporting the completion of job applications and cover letters
- Providing training for interview preparation, both via phone and in-person
