Job Summary:

Payrolljobsboard is seeking an experienced Payroll Executive to join its team.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Deliver precise payroll operations, including BACS payments when required.
  • Collaborate with senior colleagues to verify payroll calculations for accuracy and compliance.
  • Efficiently manage pension, sick pay, and holiday pay processing.
  • Offer support for ad-hoc tasks, client inquiries, and queries from colleagues and HMRC.
  • Work closely with the Payroll Bureau Manager to ensure all client and statutory deadlines are met, maintaining up-to-date processes and procedures.
  • Be prepared to handle additional payroll duties as required.

Essential Skills:

  • Proven experience in end-to-end payroll preparation.
  • Track record of handling high-volume payrolls or payroll bureau operations, including weekly processing.
  • Strong understanding of statutory deductions like pensions and auto-enrolment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with effective stakeholder interaction.
  • Proficient in Excel, running and reconciling reports, and importing CSV data files.
