About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate pastoral priest to serve as the Incumbent of Ewhurst Green and Bodiam. As a spiritual leader, you will be responsible for guiding the congregations of these two welcoming parishes, fostering a sense of community and support among the members.

The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, able to connect with people of all ages and backgrounds. You will be committed to community life, eager to make the most of opportunities for outreach, growth, and wider regeneration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide spiritual guidance and support to the congregations of Ewhurst Green and Bodiam
  • Foster a sense of community and belonging among the members
  • Develop and implement strategies for outreach, growth, and wider regeneration
  • Work closely with the churchwardens, PCC, and other stakeholders to achieve the parishes' goals
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a qualified priest with a strong commitment to the Church of England's values and principles. You will be a good communicator, able to work effectively with people of all ages and backgrounds. A passion for community life and a desire to make a positive impact in the parishes are essential.
