We are seeking a pastoral priest to join our community in Ewhurst Green and Bodiam, two welcoming and friendly parishes in rural East Sussex.

The ideal candidate will be committed to community life in the villages and their schools, and eager to make the most of opportunities for outreach, growth, and wider regeneration.

• Lead worship in the central tradition of the Church of England
• Provide pastoral care to the congregation and community
• Develop and implement strategies for outreach and growth
• Work collaboratively with the churchwardens, PCC, and congregations

We offer a supportive and inclusive community, with opportunities for professional development and growth.

The parishes comprise three churches: St James the Great, Ewhurst Green; St Giles, Bodiam; and the mission church of St Mark, Staplecross.

There are currently two services on Sunday mornings, with a strong lay support and a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults.
