Senior Accountant Wanted:

A leading firm of chartered accountants and tax advisers is seeking a part-time Senior Accountant to join their team in the South West of England.

This role involves planning workload, ensuring deadlines are met, and preparing statutory accounts. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an accountancy practice, be ACA/ACCA qualified/part-qualified, and possess excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan workload for the accounts team
  • Ensure monthly workload targets are met
  • Prepare statutory accounts and corporation tax returns
  • Assist management with finalising accounts

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified/part-qualified
  • Previous experience working in an accountancy practice environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
