Job Summary:

This role is a key part of Forthglade's supply chain team and a pivotal link between the Forthglade supply and commercial functions. The purpose of the role is to provide a clear demand signal into supply chain to support factory scheduling, material purchasing and therefore optimisation of finished goods inventory.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Manage demand planning data to inform material planning and procurement decisions.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and logistics providers to ensure seamless delivery of materials.
  3. Analyse and report on medium- and long-term forecast changes to inform business decisions.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective delivery of materials and optimal inventory levels.
  5. Support international import/export and associated transport procedures.

Requirements:

This person is a confident and experienced supply chain professional with a robust character able to switch between data analysis and implementation of insight/outcome. They have the capacity to simultaneously manage a variety of activities and keep multiple priorities in check to ensure our service level to customer is maintained and cost under control.

Qualifications:

  1. +3yrs experience in demand planning, factory scheduling, material planning and/or allocation, stock control.
  2. Strong understanding of demand planning process, procedures and measures.
  3. Logistics, storage & Transport Management, inc. 3rd party logistics relationships. International logistics in a food/meat environment desirable.
  4. +5yrs experience in FMCG Food Manufacturing, Warehousing, Supply Chain and Distribution environment.
