About the Role

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in finance, with a strong understanding of financial principles and a proven track record in financial analysis and modelling. They will be responsible for generating financial reporting packages, providing counsel to program managers on variances, and implementing, monitoring, reporting, and analysing program budget and/or schedule.

  • Generate financial reporting packages and provide counsel to program managers on variances;
  • Baseline development and maintenance, performance management, and estimate at complete development and analysis;
  • Implement, monitor, report, and analyse program budget and/or schedule;
  • Perform earned value management, including implementation, maintenance, reporting, and analysis;
  • Organise cost and/or schedule data for monthly program reviews;
  • Complete analytical data for monthly forecast review, including orders, sales, operating income, and cash;
  • Participate in presentations and group discussions at internal and external financial/schedule meetings;
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with the organisation to maintain a positive and productive work environment;
  • Perform other duties as required.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in finance with a strong understanding of financial principles;
  • A minimum of part-qualified status;
  • Prior Finance Business Partnering experience;
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and financial modelling;
  • Ability to develop and manage budgets and forecasts;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
  • Relevant finance qualification or equivalent experience.
