Job Title: Regional Destination Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Destination Manager to join our team at Scott Dunn. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for creating and implementing innovative destination product strategies that showcase the best of Europe.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the European travel market and a passion for creating exceptional travel experiences. You will work closely with our sales and commercial teams to gather insights and feedback from guests, and use this information to continually improve our Europe tailor-made product offering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement destination product strategies that meet the needs of our discerning guests
  • Work with the Product Director to identify opportunities for growth and improvement in our Europe tailor-made product
  • Report on progress, trends, and statistics for the region and cross-region themes and holiday types
  • Support Sales and Commercial teams with training, product documentation, and system loading
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop digital and print campaigns and secure marketing agreements with suppliers
  • Provide regular product updates and training to the team, along with support on price-matching and ad-hoc negotiating
  • Conduct regular competitor, destination, and supplier analysis
  • Identify and contract experiences that enhance guests' holidays and add differentiation to the product
  • Create and add accommodation, itinerary, and experience copy to the product database
  • Work with the website manager to create featured items, destination guides, and refresh existing copy for better SEO
  • Oversee fam trip content and planning, ensuring relevant product is seen and pre- and post-fam work is completed in line with company guidelines
  • Attend supplier events, trade shows, and overseas travel as required
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual who is passionate about creating exceptional travel experiences. You will have a deep understanding of the European travel market and a proven track record of developing and implementing successful destination product strategies.

You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. You will also have a strong commercial acumen, with the ability to manage supplier and external relationships.
