Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled Creative Copywriter to join our team at Derivco, a leading provider of gaming technology. As a key member of our Branding and Communication Team, you will be responsible for crafting compelling internal communications and initiatives to engage our global workforce of over 2,000 employees.

The ideal candidate will have excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear and engaging content. You will work closely with executives and other stakeholders to develop key messages, headlines, and body copy that capture the brand's tone, voice, and principles.

  1. Develop and implement effective internal communication strategies to drive engagement and business results.
  2. Craft clear, concise, and creative copy for various internal communication platforms, including email, intranet, and video.
  3. Collaborate with designers, internal communications specialists, and event managers to produce visually appealing content that resonates with our global audience.
  4. Conduct research to understand the target audience, industry trends, and competitors, ensuring alignment with the communication plan.
  5. Gain a deep understanding of the brand, its products and services, business and marketing goals, and processes.
  6. Write, proofread, edit, and refine copy to ensure clarity, coherence, and maximum impact.
  7. Manage time effectively to meet tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
  8. Maintain consistency in tone, voice, and style across all internal communications.
Requirements
  • 2-4 years of experience in creative writing, copywriting, and internal communications.
  • Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and storytelling skills.
  • Understanding of employee engagement, motivation, and behavior change principles.
  • Experience working with graphic and multimedia designers, internal comms, and event coordinators.
  • Creativity, imagination, and innovative thinking.
  • Strong research, analytical, and interviewing skills.
