Investigator (Contract) Professional

Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service is seeking an experienced Investigator to join their team. As a Professional Standards Advisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards within the organization.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting investigations into disciplinary matters, ensuring that all procedures are followed in accordance with relevant policies and laws. You will work closely with employees, managers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently and effectively.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You should be confident in presenting information to different audiences and have the ability to transform complex data into clear, concise reports.
In terms of qualifications, we require a Level 2 Professionalising Investigations Programme, or equivalent, as well as a degree-level qualification in a relevant subject. Experience of conducting formal disciplinary investigations and presenting at hearings is also essential.
This is a permanent, part-time position, working 22 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The salary for this role is approximately £24,000 per annum, pro-rata, plus benefits such as local government pension scheme and annual leave entitlement.
