Job Title: Adult Social Care Solicitor - Locum Opportunity

Job Description:

We are currently working with a Local Authority in the North-West region, who are recruiting for a locum Adult Social Care Lawyer to support their busy team for an initial 3-month period, which is likely to be extended.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acting in court of protection matters
  • Preparing and representing the organisation in court of protection matters
  • Advising on all aspects of adult safeguarding law
  • Advising on plans and assessments for vulnerable adults
  • Advising on the duties of the organisation under the Care Act

Requirements:

  • Strong Adult Social Care experience
  • Relevant Professional Qualification – Solicitor, Barrister, FCILEX

Working Hours:

  • 37 hours per week
  • Monday – Friday
