Deputy Course Manager

The Club Company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Course Manager to join our team at The Tytherington Golf & Country Club.

About the Role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and hard-working individual who has the ability to work with, lead and motivate others in a challenging environment. As a Deputy Course Manager, you will support the Course Manager in managing the daily operation of the course and ensuring planned maintenance activities are carried out.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Course Manager in overseeing the daily operation of the golf course
  • Ensure planned maintenance activities are carried out to maintain the course's high standards
  • Work with the team to maintain exceptional standards of quality and customer service
  • Support the Course Manager in managing the course's budget and resources
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the course's maintenance and operations

Requirements:

  • Strong background in Green keeping and a recognised qualification in turf management
  • PA1, 2 & 6 spraying and chainsaw certificates
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards
