About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Community Mental Health Team in South Derbyshire and Dales.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with patients, families, and carers to provide high-quality care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct occupational assessments and set realistic goals with patients
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Provide education and support to patients and carers

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Experience working with older adults and people with dementia
