**Daily Tasks**:
As an Entry-Level SEND Children’s Care Worker, your daily responsibilities will be diverse and rewarding, including:
**Daily Care**:You will help the children get ready for the day, assisting with activities such as dressing, feeding, and personal hygiene. Throughout the day, you will guide and support the children, ensuring they are engaged and comfortable in their environment.
**Educational Support**: Supporting children in their educational activities is a key part of the role. You will help facilitate learning both on-site and during off-site trips, stimulating intellectual and social development through engaging and interactive sessions.
**Therapeutic Activities**:Engaging children in therapeutic activities is crucial for their emotional and social development. You will utilize the home’s sensory rooms and therapy facilities to conduct these activities, tailoring them to each child’s individual needs.
**Recreational Activities**:Leading and participating in recreational activities will be a regular part of your day. These activities, often conducted on the farm or in the outdoor spaces, help promote physical health, social skills, and overall well-being.
**Behavior Management**:Implementing positive behavior management strategies is essential for maintaining a supportive and nurturing environment. You will be trained to use these strategies effectively to support the emotional and social well-being of the children.
**Documentation**: Keeping accurate records of the children’s progress and any incidents is vital. You will ensure compliance with care plans and safeguarding policies through meticulous documentation.

**Training and Development**:

**Shadowing Program**: Following the induction, you will participate in a two-week shadowing program. This hands-on experience with senior staff members will provide you with valuable insights and practical knowledge.
