Job Description

Milton Keynes or Central London – We offer a hybrid working setup of 3 days per week in the office and 2 days per week from home.

  • We are looking for a Senior Materials Engineer to work on a permanent staff basis for a large Oil & Gas company.
  • Your main responsibilities will include developing project engineering documents, undertaking materials and corrosion-related project activities, and preparing engineering studies.
Requirements
  • A minimum of a degree in Materials Engineering with professional status (or working towards).
  • Strong understanding of material types, materials selection, corrosion assessment, and materials performance assessment.
  • Familiarity with paint and lining systems, insulation selection, and welding of pressure components.
  • Capability to work independently in a team environment and manage multiple project responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated commitment to constant improvement in engineering activities across diverse geographic, technical, and cultural contexts.
  • Familiarity with the application and maintenance of engineering processes, systems, and tools (software).
  • Proficiency in MS Office software.
  • Full command of the English language, both written and spoken.

Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
