Complete Talent Services Ltd, an International engineering company based in the UK, is seeking a Certification Engineer to join their Technical team on a permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will have a Degree qualification in a relevant discipline (Mechanical Engineering/Materials Science) and a demonstrable background within a similar role, with working knowledge of quality/materials documentation. Knowledge of Oil and Gas/Nuclear quality standards is advantageous.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary package, including an estimated £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description:
  1. Amend or create orders within the bill of materials and produce other relevant documents as required by the relevant procedure.
  2. Check incoming material certification in accordance with both national and international standards/specifications.
  3. Ensure that base material certificates are compliant with the manufacturing processes.
  4. Produce bespoke material certification following internal manufacturing processes.
  5. Check laboratory test reports in accordance with the purchase order requirements.
  6. Produce in-house NDT reports and ensure compliance with the purchase order.
  7. Liaise with 3rd party inspectors in relation to material certification releases.
  8. Liaise with clients regarding material certification queries.
  9. Liaise with the third party test laboratories in relation to the release of material samples and expediting orders currently outstanding at the laboratories.
  10. Interface with the commercial, technical, manufacturing, and expediting departments.
Requirements:
  • Degree qualified in a relevant discipline.
  • Experience working with quality/materials documentation within an Engineering/Manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding of quality standards used in the Oil and Gas/Nuclear sector (advantageous).
