Responsibilities- Procurement Management: Raise purchase orders, maintain and update product lists, and ensure accuracy on the system.
- Product Setup and Maintenance: Ensure product lists are set up correctly and updated on the system, managing critical deadlines in planning and trading.
- Departmental Coordination: Manage the department's critical path, working with Buyers to ensure the correct delivery date.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative and filing support for the department, including invoices, product data, and managing and sorting post and parcels.
- Sample Management: Manage department samples, including chasing samples, sample storage, and sample requests across wholesale, marketing, and photography.
- Product Feedback: Provide product feedback for fit sessions and share comments with suppliers.
- Range Meeting Preparation: Support the team in preparing for range meetings, including sample pulling and organizing sign-off documents when needed.
- Junior Buyer Support: Support Junior Buyers with approvals processes, managing product storage, lab dips, yarn dips, and bulk submissions.
- Market Research: Conduct comp shops to develop knowledge of the current market and provide feedback to the team as necessary.
- Supplier Relationships: Maintain relationships with suppliers.
- In-Store Visits: Participate in in-store visits and provide detailed feedback to Buyers and Merchandising teams.
- Previous Experience: Previous experience within a Buying Admin role is preferable (placement year or internship experience will be considered).
- Passion for Buying: Passionate about gaining experience and developing a career in Buying.
- Technical Skills: Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Soft Skills: Proactive, hard-working, and excellent at building relationships.
- Self-Motivation: Self-motivated and highly organized.
- Teamwork: Works confidently in a team environment.
- Workload Management: Ability to prioritize and manage own workload.
