Job Description

Quantity Surveyor Tiling and Stonework

At Mitchell Maguire, we are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team in the field of Tiling and Stonework.

As a dedicated expert in this area, you will be responsible for providing accurate and detailed quantity surveys for complex projects, ensuring seamless execution and minimizing costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough site visits to assess project requirements and identify opportunities for cost savings
  • Develop and maintain detailed quantity surveys, including material takeoffs and labor requirements
  • Collaborate with project managers and site teams to ensure accurate estimating and minimize project delays
  • Provide expert advice on tiling and stonework specifications, materials, and installation methods
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in quantity surveying, with a strong background in tiling and stonework
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop creative solutions
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools, including estimation and project management software
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously
