Fitness Instructor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Gym Instructor to join our team at Hurlingham Club in London. As a key member of our Fitness team, you will be responsible for the daily operations of our gymnasium, including conducting inductions and reprogramme sessions, leading group fitness sessions, and ensuring the gym equipment is in good working order.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the daily operations of the gymnasium, including supervising staff and ensuring a high level of customer service.
- Conduct inductions and reprogramme sessions for new members, ensuring they are aware of the gym's facilities and equipment.
- Lead a variety of group fitness sessions, including cardio and strength training programmes.
- Inspect the gym equipment daily to ensure it is in good working order and report any faults to the maintenance team.
- You will hold a current and recognised qualification that allows you to enter REPs at Level 2 or above.
- Previous experience of exercise programming and inductions is essential.
- Any experience of creating and presenting group exercise sessions would be beneficial.
- Previous experience in a supervisory position would be highly beneficial, especially if that experience includes training and managing new starters, ongoing training and managing operational standards.
