NHS Ayrshire and Arran, as part of NHS Scotland's commitment to delivering high-quality patient care, is seeking a skilled Domestic Support Specialist to join its team at Troon Health Centre on a bank basis.

As a Domestic Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of the healthcare environment, adhering to NHS Scotland's National Cleaning Services Specification and Healthcare Environment Inspectorate Standards. This involves providing a wide range of domestic services that support clinical activities throughout Ayrshire and Arran.

To be successful in this role, you will require experience with industrial cleaning equipment or have previously worked within a healthcare setting. However, full training will be provided to ensure your proficiency in operating equipment and using cleaning materials safely.

You will be required to undertake departmental training, including risk assessments and training in food hygiene, geographical knowledge of the area, waste management, and linen bagging policy.

The estimated salary for this position is around £18,000 - £20,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.

Please note that a driving license is not a requirement for this role; however, you must hold a valid UK/EU/EEA license if you intend to drive for work purposes.
