Job Title: SEN Teacher

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive school in Chesterfield. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and a commitment to creating inclusive and engaging learning environments.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver tailored lessons to meet the unique needs of SEN students in pre-formal or semi-formal classes.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.
  • Maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment at all times.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with students with SEN, including knowledge of effective strategies and interventions appropriate for pre-formal and semi-formal learning.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
