About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled NPI Project Coordinator to join our team at MDE Group UK. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially astute individual to be involved in projects from inception to completion, with the flexibility to shape working practices to meet project needs.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, with experience in managing and controlling project data, creating and distributing weekly timing plans, and overseeing the handover of new projects from technical to manufacturing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Design & Projects Team with new project launches.
  • Maintain communication with customers and suppliers.
  • Manage and control project data.
  • Create and distribute weekly timing plans.
  • Organise and attend mould trials, reporting any issues.
  • Perform part measurements using CMM and other metrology equipment.
  • Submit ISIR, PSW, PPAP, and FAIR documentation.
  • Develop work instructions and visual aids for production teams.
  • Oversee the handover of new projects from technical to manufacturing teams.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in CAD systems (design skills are a plus).
  • Advanced skills in MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Knowledge of injection mould tooling, processing, and materials.
  • Familiarity with secondary operations such as ultrasonic welding, painting, printing, and manual assembly.
  • Experience working with ISO9001 quality standards and systems.
