Job Title: Higher Level Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team in a primary school in the BB5 area. This is a full-time temporary role, with the possibility of becoming permanent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess student needs and provide targeted support to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Establish positive relationships with students, promoting a culture of high expectations and respect.
  • Support the class teacher in lesson planning and delivery, and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
  • Address learning gaps and provide additional support to students who require it.
  • Understand and adhere to safeguarding procedures to ensure a safe and secure learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience as a HLTA or Level 3 Teaching Assistant.
  • A Level 2 safeguarding certificate (can be completed following application).
  • A DBS on the update service (can be applied for following application).
  • Professional references from previous employers.
