Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Finance Administrator to join our Finance Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for accounts payable and wider procurement duties, including data entry, supplier management, and credit control.
Key Responsibilities
- Process purchase invoices, including matching with purchase orders, gaining appropriate approvals, and making payments to suppliers.
- Manage queries on invoicing and payments, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining excellent relationships with external suppliers.
- Perform data entry across both accounting and financial data, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Assist with contract negotiation and procurement duties, supporting the team in achieving business objectives.
- Contribute to the completion of weekly/monthly reports, providing valuable insights and supporting business decision-making.
Requirements
- 4 GCSE or equivalent, grade A* - C, including English and Maths.
- Strong attention to detail and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office packages, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Desirable: Previous experience in a finance environment, previous administrative experience, and experience of SAP or Sage 500.
