About the Job

As a Construction Quantity Surveyor at CV Library, you will play a critical role in delivering successful construction projects. Your expertise will help us to ensure that our developments are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake site appraisals and land valuations to assess project feasibility
  • Compile tender packs for subcontractors and materials suppliers, ensuring accurate pricing and specifications
  • Manage site budgets, including taking off quantities and costing materials, to ensure projects remain on track financially
  • Evaluate quotes from subcontractors and materials suppliers, selecting the best options for each project
  • Issue orders for subcontract work, materials, and plant, ensuring timely delivery and installation
  • Process payments and final accounts for completed projects, maintaining accurate records of expenditure
  • Gather and collate health and safety information from subcontractors, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
  • Carry out general administrative tasks, including filing and data management
Requirements
  • A degree in a relevant field, such as quantity surveying or construction management
  • Recent experience working for a residential developer, preferably in a quantity surveying role
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, clients, and subcontractors
  • Ability to demonstrate job loyalty and commitment to delivering high-quality results
