Project Engineer Job Description

We're seeking a talented Project Engineer to join our rapidly growing team at Forseven. In this pivotal role, you'll play a key part in risk management for both product and process development.

Reporting to our Chief Engineer, you'll coordinate and lead FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) sessions across project phases, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure risks are properly identified, prioritized, and documented.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and facilitating FMEA meetings in accordance with APQP guidelines, coordinating with relevant departments.
  • Using FMEA tools to conduct risk analysis, ensuring compliance with FMEA methodologies and accurate documentation.
  • Prioritizing and verifying that process, safety, homologation, and key characteristics meet required capability standards.

What we're looking for:

  • Experience in automotive electrical components' design, development, and manufacture.
  • Experience of leading DFMEA and System (Electrical Interface) Reviews.
  • Working knowledge of automotive networks, standards, and development processes.
