About the Role

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Store Manager to join our team at Schuh Rushden Lakes. As a key member of our store leadership team, you'll be responsible for driving sales growth, delivering exceptional customer service, and leading a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coach and develop your team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service
  • Lead by example, managing junior managers and sales teams to ensure a positive and productive store environment
  • Nurture a culture of operational excellence, ensuring the store is always looking its best and running smoothly
  • Recruit, train, and develop new talent to drive business growth and succession planning
  • Set goals, achieve targets, and drive key performance indicators (KPIs) to deliver business results
  • Strive for operational excellence, ensuring the store is always running efficiently and effectively
  • Celebrate achievements and recognize team members for their hard work and dedication
  • Promote the Schuh brand through our core service values, ensuring a consistent and exceptional customer experience
  • Create exciting new store displays, using your commercial acumen to drive sales and foot traffic
  • Adhere to company policies and guidelines, ensuring compliance and maintaining a positive store environment

About You

We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, ambitious, and ready for a challenge. You'll be optimistic, energetic, and passionate about retail, customer service, and footwear. As a natural leader, you'll be able to motivate and inspire your team to deliver exceptional results.
