About the Role

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Store Manager to join our team at Schuh Rushden Lakes. As a key member of our store leadership team, you'll be responsible for driving sales growth, delivering exceptional customer service, and leading a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coach and develop your team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service
  • Lead by example, managing junior managers and sales teams to ensure a positive and productive store environment
  • Nurture a culture of operational excellence, ensuring the store is always looking its best and running smoothly
  • Recruit, train, and develop new talent to drive business growth and success
  • Set goals, achieve targets, and drive key performance indicators (KPIs) to deliver business results
  • Celebrate achievements and recognize team members for their hard work and dedication
  • Promote the Schuh brand through our core service values and visual merchandising guidelines

About You

We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, ambitious, and ready for a challenge. You'll be a natural leader, with a passion for retail, customer service, and footwear. You'll be able to motivate and inspire your team to deliver exceptional results, while also being able to work independently and make commercial decisions.
