CareTech Group: Support Worker for Children Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in a Children Residential setting. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide emotional and practical support to young people, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care and meal preparation.
  • Encourage and support young people to participate in educational and leisure activities.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individual care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of young people's progress and well-being.

Requirements:

  • A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.
  • 12 months experience working in a residential setting is desirable, but not essential.
  • A willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
