The Bread Factory, a leading bakery manufacturer in London, offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled Production Quality Specialist to join their team. As a key member of the production team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality products meet customer expectations.

About the Role:

  • Raw Material and Supplier Assurance: Approving raw material specifications to ensure supplier documentation meets due diligence standards.
  • Audit Support: Completing traceability checks for audits and maintaining raw material data and KPIs.
  • Customer Complaint Resolution: Investigating non-conformances and providing data-driven solutions to inform supplier resolutions.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring adherence to customer technical policies, labeling standards, and regulatory changes affecting back-of-pack information.
  • Process Development: Following procedures to document and maintain internal and customer standards.
  • Supplier Audit Support: Collaborating with the Raw Material and Supplier Assurance Manager on supplier audits.

About You:

  • Education: BSc or above in Food Safety or related field (desired).
  • Experience: 3+ years in food manufacturing, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Good literacy and numeracy skills, accuracy, attention to detail, organization, time management, written and verbal communication, influencing, and expectation management.
  • Certifications: Level 3 HACCP, VACCP, Internal Audit Training (desired).
