Co-op Data Analytics Specialist

**About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team at Co-op Digital in Manchester. This is a 24-month fixed-term contract with a competitive salary of £40,000 to £45,000 plus great benefits.
The successful candidate will play a key role in developing AI techniques and products that empower colleagues to make faster, more informed decisions. You will work in a hybrid way – splitting your time between home and the office.
This role would suit people who have strong analytical skills, experience writing and developing code, and good communication and relationship-building skills.
Key Responsibilities- Develop sustainable data products that drive value across Co-op using cutting-edge Databricks and Azure Cloud Technology
- Use a range of statistical and machine learning techniques to translate complex business logic and strategic decision-making into code
- Collaborate with colleagues to understand their needs, present solutions, and gather feedback
- Drive innovation and explore ways for us to make better use of our Co-op data
