We are seeking a skilled Financial Data Analyst to join our team at Co-op Digital, located in the heart of Manchester City Centre. This is an exciting opportunity for you to leverage your expertise in financial analysis and business intelligence to drive growth and innovation within our logistics network.

The successful candidate will have advanced experience with Microsoft Power BI, Excel, and database applications. Your excellent communication skills and ability to present complex data insights to both financial and non-financial stakeholders will be highly valued.

About the Role

This 9-month fixed-term contract offers a competitive salary of £34,000 - £39,600, plus excellent benefits package that includes:

Key Responsibilities

">
  • Manage the continued development of Power BI applications
  • Proactively look into automation and streamlining of processes
  • Embrace latest business tools and new technology, including Power Automate and Power Apps
  • Construct and maintain a network database that contains historical and planned KPIs and relevant data for use within the finance team
  • Work closely with finance business partners and logistics colleagues to deliver detailed and accurate reports, financial plans and insightful analysis
  • Provide variance analysis and insight across the different business areas on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
  • Ad-hoc analysis and support, ensuring any risk and opportunities are identified, highlighting potential financial impacts
  • Periodically review all published reports and planning models to ensure that they are consistent across the network and always fit for purpose
