Job Description

The successful candidate will work as an integral part of a multi-agency service to provide a seamless pathway for the holistic care of Looked After Children in Kent. This includes:

  • Providing comprehensive health assessments.
  • Detecting and managing health issues among vulnerable children and young people.
  • Delivering health promotion programs.
  • Collaborating with other agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and young people.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (Child Branch) or equivalent qualification with post-registration experience in primary care and child development.
  • Competent to level 3 of the Looked After Children: Knowledge, skills and competencies of health care staff intercollegiate role framework (2015).
  • Evidence of ongoing CPD to maintain and further develop knowledge and skills relating to children and young people.

Salary

The annual salary for this position is £37,338 to £44,962, pro rata.
