Job Overview
The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations and management of the business. This role involves financial reporting, management reporting, buying and merchandising reporting, and statutory/tax reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience working within a multi-brand retailer and a good understanding of buying and merchandising operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial reports, including management accounts, commentary, and analysis
- Oversee the reconciliation between our accounting system and Shopify
- Manage banking and merchant account reconciliations
- Prepare weekly payments and liaise with outsourced payroll for PAYE & NIC Returns
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and bank reconciliations
- Ensure strong financial accounting skills, preferably in an e-commerce/stock environment
- Proficiency in NetSuite, Shopify, and Microsoft Office Suite
Requirements
- Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA)
- Demonstrable experience in finance, with a managerial role
