Job Title: Science Teacher for Students with Learning Difficulties
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Science Teacher to join our team at a Secondary School in Oxfordshire. As a Science Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing education to students with learning difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and comprehensive science lessons to students with varying needs
- Maintain a well-organised classroom environment and ensure safe use of equipment
- Work effectively with colleagues to provide support and guidance to students
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Contribute to the development of lesson plans and educational resources
Requirements:
- Hold QTS or equivalent qualification
- Recent mainstream school-based experience as a Science or Biology Teacher in a Secondary School
- Good classroom and behaviour management skills
- Relevant Science-related degree desirable
- SEND experience desirable
