We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Production Specialist to join our team at Castle View Group. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective manufacture of high-quality control equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Freehand soldering components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) with precision and accuracy.
- Manufacture complete control equipment, adhering to strict quality control standards.
- Work from detailed diagrams and drawings to ensure accurate assembly and installation.
- Install isolators, LEDs, and wiring components, verifying their correct operation.
- Perform wiring, stripping, and crimping of modules, maintaining a high level of quality and efficiency.
- Assist with inspection and testing of components to ensure they meet our quality standards.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all relevant procedures and protocols.
- Ensure equipment is operating at optimal levels, following all instructions and guidelines.
- Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Apprentice-trained or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
- Proven experience in the industry, with a strong understanding of electronics fabrication and assembly.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with a focus on quality and excellence in all aspects of the job.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and management, providing feedback and suggestions for process improvements.
This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, with a standard working week of 37.5 hours. The salary for this role is £11.50 per hour.
