Overview:

Austin Fraser is seeking a skilled IT Infrastructure Specialist to join their team in Chester.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced IT professional with a passion for infrastructure management and cloud-based solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and testing solutions using the Microsoft stack.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and test solutions using the Microsoft stack (Power Platform, SharePoint etc.)
  • Work closely with clients to establish their requirements, translating these into business requirements and project deliverables
  • Have a strong focus on project quality, cost, and timeliness, ensuring a successful implementation for clients

Infrastructure / Component Activities:

  • Proactively monitor endpoints using various tools
  • Provide administration services to admin centers such as Exchange, Teams, and SharePoint
  • Develop and implement compliance and configuration policies to ensure endpoint compliance using Microsoft Intune
  • Handle devices such as laptops from receipt through to shipping
  • Manage device inventory
  • Respond to cybersecurity incidents and provide appropriate mitigation to minimize risk
  • Be a software champion, educating clients on how to use typical Microsoft products

Technical Experience:

  • Microsoft SharePoint administration and development
  • Microsoft admin centers
  • Microsoft Azure
  • Microsoft Endpoint Manager
  • Microsoft Power Platform
  • Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
  • Windows 10/11
  • Windows desktop applications (Outlook, Teams, Office suite)

Salary: The estimated salary for this role is £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.

  • Full-time 37-hour working week
  • 28 days paid holiday per annum inclusive of bank holidays in England, rising to 30 days paid holiday per annum inclusive of bank holidays in England after 2 years continuous service
