About the Role

Cirrus Logic is seeking a highly skilled Senior Validation and Characterization Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring junior engineers, developing and implementing test infrastructure and processes, and ensuring the functionality and performance of our embedded on-chip circuitry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bench test, debug, and characterize embedded on-chip circuitry to ensure functionality and performance.
  • Develop automated test frameworks and regression test suites to optimize validation efficiency.
  • Architect and implement software framework methodologies based on Python.
  • Collaborate with Validation and Production Test engineering peers to implement best practices and continuous improvements to Cirrus Logic's backend test methodologies.
  • Analyze test results and identify failures/defects using business intelligence tools.
  • Support and develop automation software for test equipment.
  • Write technical reports and summaries of all data collected.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Master's of Engineering degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering with experience in IC Validation or Test Engineering.
  • Advanced electrical engineering knowledge in analog, digital, power electronics, or audio engineering.
  • Experience with scripting languages, preferably Python, for test automation and data analysis.
  • Ability to handle engineering tasks, including characterization, failure analysis, test development, statistical analysis, and customer support.
