Cirrus Logic is a leader in innovative end-user solutions for top consumer brands, and we're seeking a talented Senior Validation and Characterization Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you'll work closely with our engineers to develop and implement cutting-edge test infrastructure and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Bench test, debug, and characterize embedded on-chip circuitry to ensure functionality and performance.
  • Develop automated test frameworks and regression test suites to optimize validation efficiency.
  • Architect and drive implementation of software framework methodologies based on Python.
  • Collaborate with Validation and Production Test engineering peers to implement best practices and continuous improvements.
  • Analyze test results and identify failures/defects using business intelligence tools.
  • Support and develop automation software for test equipment.
  • Write technical reports and summaries of all data collected.
Requirements:
  • BSc, MSc, or MEng in Electrical & Electronic Engineering with experience in IC Validation or Test Engineering.
  • Advanced electrical engineering knowledge in analog, digital, power electronics, or audio engineering.
  • Experience with scripting languages, Python preferred, for test automation and data analysis.
  • Able to handle engineering tasks combining experience in Characterization, Failure Analysis, Test Development, Statistical analysis, and Customer Support.
