Job Summary

NHS Scotland is seeking a skilled Primary Care Coordinator to support the delivery of high-quality primary care services. The successful candidate will play a vital role in coordinating patient care, scheduling appointments, and providing administrative support to nursing teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate patient care and scheduling appointments
  • Provide administrative support to nursing teams
  • Deal with public enquiries by telephone and email
  • General administration support to the teams operating within the primary care improvement services

Requirements

  • Previous experience of working in an office environment
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Experience of administration systems, accurate data input
  • Ability to work on their own initiative but also as part of a wider operations team

Qualifications

  • Qualification in Business Administration or Office Management – SVQ level 3 is essential
