Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Clinical Psychologist to join our team in the Western Isles. As a key member of our community mental health services, you will provide clinical leadership in the delivery of psychological therapies and contribute to the development of our psychology service for adults.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver assessments and interventions to patients with a range of mental health and learning disabilities needs
• Provide training and supervision to multi-disciplinary team colleagues
• Advise on clinical governance issues and work closely with NHS Education for Scotland
• Liaise with GPs and colleagues in primary care and the voluntary sector

Requirements:

• Postgraduate qualification in Clinical Psychology
• Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
• Experience of working in a remote and rural area
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
