Join Our Team as a Customer Assistant at Lidl - Newton Aycliffe

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Assistant at Lidl - Newton Aycliffe. As a key member of our store team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and requests in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Work efficiently to receive and process deliveries, maintaining a high level of stock accuracy and organization.
  • Proactively maintain a clean and tidy store environment, adhering to Lidl's high standards.
  • Support the bakery team in preparing and displaying fresh goods, ensuring a high-quality shopping experience for our customers.
  • Merchandise and maintain our middle aisles of Non-Food products, ensuring a visually appealing and well-organized store environment.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment, preferably in retail or customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
  • A positive attitude, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to the success of our store.
