Join Our Team as a Customer Assistant or Shift Manager at Lidl - Newton Aycliffe

We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Customer Assistants or Shift Managers at Lidl - Newton Aycliffe. As a Customer Assistant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and working closely with your colleagues to achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer queries and requests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Efficiently manage deliveries, restocking shelves, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive store atmosphere.
  • Assist with visual merchandising, ensuring that products are displayed attractively and effectively.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced retail environment, preferably in a customer-facing role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • A positive attitude, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
